Blogging Graffiti

Date night this weekend included wine and a movie.  Okay, I’m making it sound way more interesting than it actually was.  Daddy and mommy were ready for a break so children went to bed a little earlier than usual so daddy and mommy could escape into movie land.

During our ‘escape’ this weekend, we were able to take in the movie Contagion.  I don’t want to provide you with any level of a review of the movie because mommy was tired and chose to catch some zzzz’s through a portion of the movie.

I am sharing this with you because there is a reference in the movie that blogging is like graffitti with punctuation.  Being very new to the blogging realm, both my husband and I found this statement funny.

Blogging is often a collection of random thoughts, anything goes, shared interests, shared information, shared experiences, positive influences on others and so much more.  A blog is the opportunity for someone or a group of people to share what is important to them….  just like graffiti.  Unlike graffitti, a blog is often only read by those who are interested, it doesn’t take away from a beautiful view and anyone just can’t make it disappear with a few strokes of paint.

To my followers:  Thank you for reading my graffiti, punctuation and all.
